The BAUSELE ‘Australian’ Collection pays tribute to our Aussie culture and our spectacular surrounds. Each piece individually embraces the distinct elements of the country and offers Australians a quality watch we can call our own.
The multi faceted and unique collection includes 3 watch styles, Surf, Yachting and Wine Bar which come in 3 Australian elements: Sand, Coal and Red Earth.And for the first time, BAUSELE has given every owner the chance to wear a little tribute to Australia on his or her own wrist. The designer has physically captured natural elements such as grains of sand, coal and red earth and incorporated them into the crown of each watch.
Interchangeable straps are also available in multiple colours and materials (leather, Stainless Steel and Silicon) allowing the watch to be easily transformed for every occasion. They are powered with technical movements from IsaSwiss that indicates Tide, Moon phase, Chronograph and even has an alarm clock...
The journey of 3 friends Max, Dom & Christo took to create a collection of iconic watches began in Sydney 20 months ago. The 3 friends, whose prestigious background includes working with high-end watch brands such as Chopard, Cartier, Bell & Ross, TechnoMarine and the Swatch Group, felt there was a gap in the market for stylish watches that were great quality and affordable to all Australians.
Maxime Helgue

moved to Australia for the second time in 2008 to run Oceania Duty Free Shoppers (DFS) Group having worked for Cartier for 18 years in Australia, Sth East Asia and the Far East. He is now the BAUSELE marketing and sales manager and as well, Oceania agent for luxury brands Chopard, Bell & Ross and Baccarat. He has been in the watch and jewellery industry for over 25 years.
Dominique Portier

has created marketing and communication companies in France and after establishing his own business online, moved to Sydney in 2007 to look for adventure, quality of life and new business opportunities. Dominique is directly in charge of the BAUSELE website and on-line business.
Christophe Hoppe

was a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Luxembourg and Switzerland, then CFO for Technomarine (Switzerland and HK), followed then by CFO for Universo (Swatch Group, CH). He is now the CFO for Hurley, leader in Australian surfing equipment. He has been in love with the watch world all his life and has chosen to live in Australia to use his watch expertise and passion to launch and nurture the new BAUSELE brand.
